We are seeking applicants for an opportunity in our Furniture Interiors Division in our Fargo, ND location.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field, with experience preferred. In addition, the Designer must be proficient in AutoCAD 2004 or higher, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The Interior Designer will coordinate all disciplines to complete furniture projects. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Applicants should possess the following characteristics:
-Interior Design experience and/or an Interior Design Degree
-Build Client Relationships
-Customer Service Skills
-Color, Fabrics, Carpets & Wall Coverings
-Supporting the Sales Staff
-Communication & organizational abilities
-Strong ability to communicate visually.
Additional responsibilities of the Interior Designer are as follows:
• Working with the interiors portion of commercial projects & coordination with other departments to include interior design, space planning, material selections, documentation for presentation, construction, furniture planning, installation, Sales Support, and procurement.
• Coordinate, organize and/or lead design teams for large scale projects.
• Develop project design criteria for various building and design types.
• Develop documents for conformance with design concepts and construction administration activities.
• Plan, schedule and direct the development of interior project requirements.
• Deliver and/or assist in client presentations.
•Drawings, calculations, cost estimates ,specifications, and pricing.
• Point of contact for clients and provide feedback and follow-up.
• Review and understand drawings prepared by others. |

We are looking for an individual that is team oriented, helpful, positive and wants to get the job done right the first time. We would be very interested in an applicant that has experience running an 2 color Envelope Press, Cutter, Folder and wants to cross train to learn other equipment and procedures.
This position has variable hours, some starting at 6:30 am or 7:30 am, working 8 hours shifts, Monday - Friday. |
